ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: PANTHERS V STEELERS PART TWO
π CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS FOR PANTHERS HOME GAMES π
The Motorpoint Arena is sold out tonight (Saturday) as Nottingham Panthers host Sheffield Steelers at the Motorpoint Arena in the Elite League.
The game - which is sponsored by Karen Burgin Ltd - faces-off at 19:00 and is part two of the festive double-header.
Panthers secured a point last night in Sheffield in a 4-3 overtime defeat.
David Noël put Panthers ahead and debutant Johnny Curran made it 2-1, but Steelers turned it around to lead 3-2 in the third period.
Noël scored a bullet of goal for his second of the night to equalise and force overtime, but Robert Dowd won it for the hosts in the extra period.
It means all three league games between the two sides this season have been settled in overtime or a penalty shootout.
Last month's league meeting in Nottingham saw Ross Armour score a hat-trick, included an equaliser with 84 seconds remaining, before Panthers went on to win 4-3 after a shootout.

Panthers will be without forward Mitch Fossier who was placed on Injury Reserve earlier this week.
New signing Johnny Curran, who played for the Panthers for the first time last night in Sheffield, will make his home debut.
