British forwards Austin Osborn and Dawson Osborn became the first twins to represent the Panthers, while there were also debuts for British defenceman Milique Martelly and 17-year-old Nottinghamshire-born Alex Rushby.

New signings Ross Armour, Jarod Hilderman, Bryan Lemos, Chase Pearson, David Noël and Finlay Ulrick also played for the Panthers for the first time.

British netminder Luca Sheldon got minutes on the ice as he replaced Jason Grande, who had cramps, midway through the third period.
