Former Nottingham Panthers forward Stephen Anderson will return to the Motorpoint Arena next week for the Continental Cup.
The exciting revamped format creates the biggest European tournament ever to be held in the UK and the six-team tournament will run from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th January 2026.
Anderson will return with Polish side GKS Katowice and will face the Panthers as part of the round-robin group.
Over 400 Katowice fans are expected to descend on Nottingham for the tournament and next Friday (16th January), the two sides will face-off for a potential spot in a European final the following night.

Anderson played for the Panthers for two seasons between 2022 and 2024 and scored 47 points (22+25) in 124 games.
He joined Katowice ahead of the 2024-25 season and won the Continental Cup bronze medal last season.
"I am excited to be coming back to Nottingham," said Anderson. "I have fond memories of my time with the club.
"I made some good friends and it was so fun to play i front of the Panthers supporters who backed us every night. I've told my team-mates all about the city, the arena and the fanbase.
"The format of the tournament will be intense and, of course, we are hoping to improve on last year's bronze medal."
Format
The six sides are split into two groups with the group winners playing for the Continental Cup title on the Saturday night. Saturday will also see the placement games which will determine where the other sides will finish in the tournament.
