A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION OF OLLIE BETTERIDGE

Over 3,200 people came out to support Ollie Betteridge as Panthers past and present took to the ice for his testimonial game on Tuesday night.

This year's current roster and stars from the past split into four teams for a night of fun and smiles at the Motorpoint Arena.

Four teams - Panthers Black, Panthers Gold, Panthers Retro and GB Blue - went head-to-head in a round-robin group format.

The final saw Panthers Black beat Panthers Gold 3-2 and it was probably no surprise that Mitch Fossier scored the game-winning goal, assisted by Ollie of course!

Foss also picked up his guitar in the second intermission to sing Pink Pony Club which was one of many magical moments.

Earlier, a pre-game video of Ollie's career brought a tear to his eye and a video of former team-mates who could not be there on the night was also shown on the jumbotron.

It was a memorable night which even saw Ollie's son, Ralphie, get involved and score a goal on the Motorpoint Arena.

Ollie said: "What an amazing night and one I will never forget.

"Thank you to everyone for your support with my testimonial. It means so much to me and my family."
