Didrik Henbrant scored the overtime winner as Nottingham Panthers beat Glasgow Clan 5-4 at the Motorpoint Arena.

Matt Alfaro missed the game with a lower body injury but Brendan Harris returned from suspension.

Jason Grande started between the pipes with Luca Sheldon as back-up.

Henbrant and Fossier on target after slow Panthers start
Panthers were on the backfoot for much of the first period and Grande made big saves to deny Mick Messner and Brett Neumann.

The visitors took the lead through Rylan Schwartz's shot from the slot (04:15), before Panthers equalised short-handed as Bryan Lemos sent Didrik Henbrant clear to score on the breakaway (06:41).

The game was turned on its head by the first intermission thanks to a neat play on an odd-man rush which saw Matt Marcinew feed Mitch Fossier at the backdoor (17:17).

Danny Stewart's side improved in the second session and a pinpoint shot from Bryan Lemos from the right-circle made it 3-1 to the Panthers (23:35).

Clan reduced the arrears through Tristin Langan's one-time finish on the powerplay (26:51).

Panthers restored their two-goal advantage as Lemos and Harris combined to set-up Marcinew for a one-timer on the man-advantage (33:29).

Brett Neumann made it a one-goal game with a one-timer at the backdoor (46:49) before Panthers had chances in quick succession for Marcinew and Tim Doherty.

Schwartz went short-side from the left-circle to equalise for the Clan (​54:02) to send the game to overtime.

Henbrant netted his second of the game as he cut inside off the left and went top-shelf to win the game (61:25).
