Defenceman Matt Spencer has signed a deal to return to the club for the 2025-26 campaign.
Spencer joined the Panthers in the summer of 2024 after becoming Danish champion with SønderjyskE and is now a two-time playoff winner following our 4-3 victory over Cardiff Devils last month in the Grand Final at the Motorpoint Arena.
He was one of only four players to ice in every game for the Panthers in 2024-25, scoring 20 points (4+16) in 54 regular-season matches and played 13 times in the Challenge Cup.
The blueliner contributed crucial points in the playoffs as he scored the empty-net goal in the 6-3 victory over Guildford Flames in the second leg of the quarter-final.
He also assisted on Sam Herr's game-winning goal in the 4-3 overtime victory against Sheffield Steelers in the semi-final.
